Once your request form is submitted, you will receive an email from Balanced Life Studio with information on how to make your non-refundable $500 deposit (per person). When submitting your request below, please let us know how many people you are reserving for, their names and which room type you are requesting. All prices are based on double occupancy, unless noted.

Please let us know if you are requesting a room all to yourself (one bed in room) or share a room (one or two beds in room - you choose). Limited Number of Single Occupancy Rooms Available.
If you are traveling solo and want to share a room with another solo traveler, we will pair you with someone of the same gender.

After your initial $500 deposit, the payment plan is as follows:

Playa Hermosa is a beautiful beach located on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, about 5 km south of Jaco. The beach is known for its breath-taking views. Come let the magic of the Costa Rican rain forest and Pacific Ocean heal your soul. This Boutique 13 Room Hotel has the most amazing ocean front pool. Feel at home on vacation with comfortable accommodations. Hermosa Beach House has amazing staff with great attention to detail. À la carte activities can be scheduled individually or as a group activity with the Hotel Concierge. Endless possibilities for excursions exist, whether it's a surfing lesson or a zip line through the gum tree forrest. Mangrove tours to see the capuchin monkeys are always a hit or you can take a catamaran ride to Tortuga Island. If you'd like to get out on the town, a ten minute taxi ride gets you to Jaco for meals and shopping.

What about flights and transportation?
Flights to and from Costa Rica and the United States are many! In the past, we typically fly from CLT Charlotte, NC on Saturday morning as a group as it's a direct flight to SJO. Several of us choose to book rooms at an airport hotel in Charlotte the night before and take the hotel shuttle to the airport in the morning.
Ground Transportation to and from SJO International Airport in Costa Rica is included.

Taxis and Uber to/from the retreat center are inexpensive and easy to arrange. We can help you with that too.
Are beginners welcome?
Of course, Welcome! Dewana's classes are for anyone with a body - which is everybody! So come as you are - every class can be tailored to your specifics.
Covid and other unforeseen World Events
We will continue to monitor the effect of COIVD-19 on international travel, transportation in country and contagion levels and keep registered participants up to date on any applicable advisories. We will comply with any law regarding vaccination status and required paperwork to enter and travel within country.
